1. Unpack the .zip folder in your desired location.
2. Open Delta Patcher in the unpacked folder.
3. Within the Delta Patcher there are two fields
   • Original file: put the data.win file from the folder that contains the original Undertale files (for the Steam version that would most likely be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Undertale) here
   • XDelta patch: put the .xdelta file from the unpacked folder here – UTHR_Steam.xdelta if you bought the game on Steam, or UTHR_GOG.xdelta if you bought it on GOG, HumbleBundle, or Microsoft.
   • IMPORTANT! It is recommended that you make a backup of the original data.win file and store it in a safe location. You will need that file in case you decide to revert to the original version of the game!
4. Press Apply patch.
5. You will see the message: Patch successfully applied! – the mod has been isntalled, you may now start Undertale.

1. Locate the original data.win file (the backup you made).
2. Open the folder that contains original Undertale files (for the Steam version most likely C:\Program files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Undertale).
3. Delete the data.win from that folder and put the original data.win file in it.

If you ever wish to reinstall the mod, repeat the installation process starting with step 2.

• I’m trying to download the mod files, but I’m getting an alert that it might contain a virus!
  • The issue probably lies in the fact that the .zip file contains an .exe file. Such files can be used to transmit viruses so Windows approaches them carefully, sometimes even blocking you from downloading them in order to protect you. All the files needed for the translation to work are safe and don’t contain any viruses, but Windows might still block them just in case.
  • Try temporarily disabling Windows Firewall and any other antivirus software you might have. Try downloading the files once again afterwards. You can also try downloading them from a different browser, e.g. Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera. As soon as you’re done with the downloading and installing, turn the firewall and other antivirus software back on to ensure that your computer stays safe.
  • If you still can’t download the mod, fill out the contact form.
• Delta Patcher shows the message The patch could not be applied: The file you are trying to patch is not the right one.
  • Make sure you have loaded the correct .xdelta file. If you bought Undertale on Steam, you have to put the UTHR_Steam.xdelta file in Delta Patcher. Otherwise (GOG, HumbleBundle, Microsoft), you need UTHR_GOG.xdelta.
  • The data.win file you load must be the original one! If you have already modified the file before (using some other mods), try to get it back to its original state or uninstall and reinstall the game.
• The mod has been installed, but the game is still in English!
  • Once you boot up the game, the default language should automatically be set to Croatian. However, if that isn’t the case, don’t worry, you can change the language within the game! Once you turn on the game and see the English text (“Long ago...“), press Enter. Near the bottom of the screen you will see the Settings option. Press Enter to access the settings and choose Hrvatski in the Language menu.
  • If you can’t find Croatian in the language menu, that means the mod isn’t installed – try reinstalling it.
